Following the tradition of Kintsugi, the art of fixing what is broken with gold, has lead me in the creation of this painting. I was gifted some Gold leaf and have been enjoying the use of it in a few paintings of late. This one used the tiny 'broken' pieces left over from the bigger sheets. 

Oil on canvas, with gold leaf detailing.

Varnished for protection . Framed in raw Tasmanian Oak.
