Market Day

This big beauty took me over two months to paint.  It was very much a labour of love and a slow and steady wins the race kind of painting. 

I took the reference photo after returning from our local Sunday markets and felt joyed by this rainbow of colour I had placed on our bench. 

I'm super happy with how it turned out and may decide to do a Market Day series...markets all over the world have always held a fascination for me. Fresh food, passionate sellers and a place to either stroll and browse or methodically shop for your weekly produce. 

Painted onto a professional stretcher and varnished for protection, it is ready to hang straight from unboxing.  If you would like it finished with a Tasmanian Oak frame, please email for a quote.

For international delivery, it would need to be removed from the stretcher and sent rolled.  International delivery would need to be quoted prior to purchase.

Australian delivery is included in the price and pick-up from my Perth studio or delivery is available.  Postage will be via a professional art delivery service. 

No prints will be made of this painting.
