My head is always playing with ideas for books and this may well be a page in a future book about dogs. Who knows? So many ideas, so little time!
This started out as a play on the idiom 'Let Sleeping Dogs Lie' showing a border collie in complete ignorance of the busyness around him. My dog grew older as I painted it and viola! The retirement party arrived.
